The Coverdale Family

Greg and Katie Coverdale have been involved in full time vocational ministry for 21 years. Both are graduates of Roanoke Bible College (Now Mid Atlantic Christian University). Katie received a BA in Elementary Education, and Greg a BS in Bible with an emphasis in Family Ministry. With their three daughters, Gracie (15), Claire (14), and Karlie (10), they are excited to join together in this new ministry in Durham, NC. As a family, when they are not doing ministry, they enjoy going to the beach, watching movies, or doing things together. 

About Renew

Renew Christian Church is a Waypoint Church Partners initiative to launch a new church in what is currently Northside Christian Church. The current congregation has a love for the lost, and knew that there was a facility that could be used to reach people with the gospel of Jesus.  At the end of 2021, they began speaking with Waypoint and after much prayer and discussion, they lovingly gave their property to Waypoint in an effort to begin a new work.

We are excited to be able to take this gift and use it as best we can to make a difference in Durham. The church is located in the northern part of Durham. It has great community of people that live around the property. These people will be a part of our target audience.  Renew Christian Church wants to be able to make a lasting, life changing effect on the people of these communities.
